Sharing Our Passion for SERVICE, SOLUTIONS and EDUCATION to Benefit Your Family and Ours
Adopt-A-Spot: Our staff connected with the City of Shawnee to adopt a length of public street to clean of trash and debris once a season to help keep our community inviting and safe.
Team Fidelis: Team Fidelis is an organization that helps Marine’s only in Kansas City providing suicide prevention, awareness, hope, camaraderie, and opportunities to Breathe and have fun with their families. The charity has grown so much over the last 4 years and has helped many families including ours. You care about your employees and their families and have a servant’s heart. We made a donation to help provide wreaths laid on the graves of the fallen.
9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, benefitting Noah's Bandage Project: This year Chris-Leef joined the fight against childhood cancer and partnered with Noah’s Bandage Project. Our annual Charity Gold Tournament raised $20,100 for this important cause! While battling cancer, Noah Wilson had many shots which resulted in receiving many plain, brown bandages. But, he refused to settle for the mundane. He realized that these bandages are more than what they seem to be – they symbolize a badge of courage. Noah had a vision to collect and provide patients with an array of fun bandages as a form of identity, and a way for the children to express themselves. Noah lost his battle to cancer at the age of 7, but his legacy lives on through this project. Noah’s Bandage Project not only collects and donates bandages, but they also raise and donate funds to be used for childhood cancer research to Children’s Mercy Kansas City; a national leader in pediatric cancer research and treatment, as well as one of the best children’s hospitals in the country. Only 4% of the U.S. national cancer research budget goes to researching childhood cancer. This is where we can step up and make a difference. Passion Purses: The mission of this organization is to help women, teens, and children with basic necessities while living in shelters. Through multiple internal $3 lunches and additional generous giving, we were able to provide several people with items that we normally take for granted. https://www.facebook.com/PoeticPassionPurses/
Noah's Crown Town 5K: In honor of Noah and his legacy, Noah's Bandage Project and Agape Montessori School put together Noah's Crown Town 5K Run/Walk. All proceeds, donations of funds, and bandages collected from this race go to support Noah's Bandage Project, and their mission to help fund pediatric cancer research. We were honored to have staff and family members join the race, and look forward to participating in the years to come! http://noahscrowntown5k.com/

8th Annual Breast Cancer Charity Golf Tournament, benefitting Susan G. Komen of Greater Kansas City: Due to the unfortunate impact Breast Cancer has had on our staff, as a company, we felt the need to host an event that would allow a generous donation to be made to Susan G. Komen. Our vision of supporting a great cause blossomed into our first Breast Cancer Charity Golf Tournament eight years ago. Chris-Leef management and staff dedicate their time year-round to put together an event that is not only fun and memorable for the participants but rewarding as well. With each tournament being more successful than the last, we were excited to announce this past event raised a record high of $22,342.84! That makes a grand total of $109,392.84 raised over the last 8 years! We couldn’t do this without the support of our golfers, retail agents, carriers, community sponsors, staff, family, and friends! For all those involved – we cannot thank you enough! http://www.komenkansascity.org/
Chris-Leef presents "VOLLEY for a CAUSE!" 3rd Annual Charity Sand Volleyball Tournament: Employees put together teams that included friends and family for a Sand Volleyball Tournament. The winning team got to donate the money raised to their charity of choice! Including entry fees, t-shirt money and additional staff and company donations, we were able to raise a generous amount for a family in need and Pathway to Hope.
Breast Cancer Research Charity Picnic: With the help of our staff who donated their time and talents and created delicious baked goods to be auctioned off, we were able to raise a generous amount to add to our final golf tournament donation pot, plus 1 VIP team to add to our tournament in September! Thank you to all our agents, staff members and friends that make these events successful! http://www.komenkansascity.org/
